As a sales executive, the role is to sell as many of your company’s goods or services as possible. As such, it has a very important part to play in your company’s success. Areas likely for a sales executive to be involved in includes selling and renewals of domains, web space (hosting), website designing, website revamping and maintenance, search engine optimization, VPS and dedicated servers hosting.

Key Responsibilities

  • New Business / Client acquisition through lead generation and qualify opportunities; thereby initiate the sales lifecycle, widening the corporate sales funnel
  • Calling and visiting potential customers for new business
  • Engage efficiently into follow ups and account penetration
  • Making accurate, rapid cost calculations, and providing customers with quotations
  • Negotiating the terms of an agreement and closing sales
  • Maintaining and developing relationships with existing customers via meetings, telephone calls and emails
  • Target achievement of Monthly / Annual budgets from new leads, existing clients & inquiries generated from marketing activities
  • Gathering market and customer information and providing feedback to the managers on future buying trends
  • Representing the organization at trade exhibitions, events and demonstrations
    Implement marketing plans for new and existing products as guided by managers
    Manage and coordinate all marketing and promotional activities
    Increase Brand Awareness of the company
    Identify potential areas for sales
  • Negotiating variations in price, delivery and specifications with company’s managers
  • Discussing special promotions with managers
  • Recording sales and order information and sending copies to the relevant departments
  • Reviewing your own sales performance, aiming to meet or exceed targets

Skills and Experience

  • The ability and desire to sell
  • Candidate should have good communication skills, good convincing power & excellent sales skills
  • Excellent written, verbal & interpersonal skills (error free, neutral accent)
  • Person who is self-motivated and has passion for sales will get preference
  • Self-disciplined and have a positive attitude. Proactive, organized and responsible towards work
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with changing needs and requirements
  • Tenacityand aggression with a proven track record of achieving goals consistently
  • Strong commercial awareness

Qualifications and Certifications

  • Post-Graduation (MBA Marketing preferred)
