Dev Information Technology is the only Indian entry to make it amongst 7 finalists worldwide, for Microsoft’s coveted ‘Partner Award 2004’ at Toronto, Canada.
Dev ITPL achieved Finalist Status in the category of Best ISV/Solution of the year in the Microsoft Worldwide Partner Award Competition 2004 at Toronto, Canada for its Case Law Retrieval Software-VERDIX. Mr. Rajiv Kaul, Managing Director Of Microsoft India, in his encouraging email message from US stated,
“Congratulations to Dev ITPL and I am proud of your exemplary efforts”.
The ISV/Software Solution of the Year category is for a solution or product that positively impacts strategic business processes and extends the value of using Microsoft Windows and Microsoft Office Technologies. Finalists for each category were chosen from defined regions of the world: Canada, Asia, Eastern Europe/Middle East/Africa, Latin America, South Pacific, and the United States.
The awards competition was extremely competitive, as more than 800 worldwide entries were considered in 12 different categories and Finalists were announced at the Toronto, Canada on July 9th 2004. A panel of judges consisting international and field partner representatives, Microsoft executives, Product Group managers, and Partner program managers selected the finalists.
VERDIX-The Case Law Retrieval Software is a unique software solution provided by Dev ITPL, which works as a research tool for the Law Fraternity at large. It facilitates both the judiciary and law practitioners by allowing them comprehensive research of the past judgments, thereby reducing the time spent for the same task from days to few minutes.
The Director of Dev ITPL, Mr. Pranav Pandya states that “Sincere plans along with consultation of Microsoft India’s ISV team are on way to increase the reach of product. Plans are to provide with other state High Court Judgment databases on the Internet, increasing the usability manifolds.”
